  10. Version 2.31 of EasyHelp is freeware but please
  11. register. Support other than via Email will be 
  12. charged for, based on the support required. 
  13.  
  14. Later versions of EasyHelp are not free software.
  15.  
  16. They are released as shareware, which provides the
  17. opportunity for the program to be evaluated before
  18. it is purchased.
  19.  
  20. We hope that after you try EasyHelp you will like
  21. it so much that you will want to register.  By
  22. doing so you are voting with your pocketbook for
  23. us to continue developing high-quality, Windows
  24. shareware.

  30. UPDATING A PREVIOUS EasyHelp INSTALLATION

  32. Keep a copy of your EasyHelp.IN file as this may be
  33. overwritten by the installation process.

  38. We are not responsible for anything at all.  Nothing.
  39. Even if we are held responsible, the limit of our
  40. liability is the licensing fees you paid.  The full text
  41. of our license agreement is found near the bottom of
  42. this file.

  45. SOFTWARE LICENSE
  46. ----------------

  48. Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use EasyHelp
  49. on a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of determining 
  50. whether EasyHelp is suitable for their needs.  The use 
  51. of EasyHelp, except for the initial 30-day trial, 
  52. requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of EasyHelp,
  53. outside of the initial 30-day trial, by any person, 
  54. business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is 
  55. strictly prohibited.

  57. A single user license permits a user to use EasyHelp
  58. only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  59. program on different computers, but may not use the program
  60. on more than one computer at the same time.
  61.  
  62. No one may modify or patch the EasyHelp executable files 
  63. in any way, including but not limited to decompiling, 
  64. disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program. 
  65.  
  66. A limited license is granted to copy and distribute EasyHelp 
  67. only for the trial use of others, subject to the above 
  68. limitations, and also the following: 
  69.  
  70.   1)    EasyHelp and all of its release files must be copied
  71.         in unmodified form, complete with the file containing
  72.         this license information.
  73.  
  74.   2)    EasyHelp may not be distributed in conjunction with
  75.         any other product without a specific license to do so
  76.         from Eon Solutions.
  77.  
  78.   3)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or
  79.         accepted, except as authorized below:
  80.  
  81.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops)
  82.            may make EasyHelp available for downloading only as
  83.            long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or
  84.            time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board
  85.            system is permitted as long as there is not a specific
  86.            charge for the download of EasyHelp.

  88.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software approved by
  89.            the ASP may distribute EasyHelp, subject to the
  90.            above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  91.            approved vendors may distribute EasyHelp only after
  92.            obtaining written permission from Eon Solutions.
  93.            Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  94.            details (enclose your catalog).

  96.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of the 
  97.            EasyHelp diskette to their members, subject to 
  98.            the above conditions, without specific permission.  
  99.            Non-profit groups may collect a disk duplication fee 
  100.            not to exceed five dollars. 
  101.  
  102. LIMITED WARRANTY
  103. ----------------

  105. Eon Solutions warrants that all disks provided are
  106. free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  107. normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  108. purchase.
  109.  
  110. Eon Solutions warrants that the program will perform
  111. in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  112. with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  113. the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  114. product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  115. exceed the purchase price of the product.
  116.  
  117.   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, EON SOLUTIONS DISCLAIMS ALL
  118.   WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
  119.   LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
  120.   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE
  121.   PRODUCT.  SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, THE
  122.   PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE ENTIRE COST OF
  123.   ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION AND ANY
  124.   INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT WILL
  125.   Eon Solutions BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER
  126.   (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF
  127.   BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS
  128.   INFORMATION AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR THE
  129.   INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT EVEN IF ION SOLUTIONS
  130.   HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  132. Use of this product for any period of time constitutes
  133. your acceptance of this agreement and subjects you to its
  134. contents.
